Local Collaboration Launches Support Project for Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
