Local Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
