Local Leaders Launch €100K Initiative for Social Inclusion in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation, institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
