Local Restaurateur Killed in Tragic Tree Accident in Tignale

A 48-year-old restaurateur and chef, Giorgio Demonti, was killed in a work-related accident while clearing land in Tignale. He was struck and killed instantly by a heavy tree trunk on his property in Fornaci.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance from Trento, firefighters, police, and alpine rescue, responded to the scene. Demonti, known locally as a restaurateur and alpine rescuer, leaves behind a partner and two school-aged children.
