In view of the 2026 local elections, a new civic project called “Lonato Insieme” is taking shape in Lonato del Garda. This initiative stems from the desire of local citizens who, by joining forces with the civic list “Ritrovo Lonato” and the parties Movimento5Stelle and Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, aim to build a better future for the community. The promoters have emphasized that the project is open to everyone, encouraging strong citizen participation, listening, and dialogue, with the intent to strengthen values such as transparency, equality, and sustainability. To further engage residents, a digital questionnaire will soon be made available via QR code to gather ideas and suggestions. This will be followed by public meetings throughout the area, from the town center to the outskirts, to collectively discuss the electoral program. “Lonato Insieme” aims to promote a politics that is closer to the citizens, striving to make the town more livable and inclusive through support for local businesses and the enhancement of gathering places.
