Lonato Events Include Puppet Show and Antique Fair This Ferragosto

Puppets and Evening Market: these are the events scheduled by the Commerce Department of Lonato for the week of Ferragosto. In particular, the Puppet Theater of Palazzolo sull’Oglio will present tomorrow evening, August 15th at 8:30 PM, in the park of the Pozze neighborhood, the show “The Three Good Men of Venice”.

Weekend Events

On Sunday the 19th, the historic center of the town will host a special edition of the fair focused on antiquities, modern collectibles, and collectibles. Starting at 8:00 PM, there will be the usual invasion of stalls in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and nearby streets.

Live music with Tiziano Barbi, Max Carella, and Simone Galante. The event recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, and the results remain excellent.

Results and Organization

This is demonstrated by the participation data from exhibitors: comparing the second semester of 1999 with that of 2000, the total number of exhibitors increased from 426 to 509, an increase of around 20%, with peaks of over 130 exhibitors in some markets this year.

An important contribution also comes from the organizing committee, composed of 16 volunteers who manage the organization of the event without pay.
