Lonato Opens New Pioneering Nursery as Students Win Sustainable Mobility Competition
Lonato inaugurated a new nursery on Wednesday, funded with approximately €1.4 million from PNRR funds. The facility, capable of accommodating up to 45 children aged 3 to 36 months, is nearing completion with interior furnishings and outdoor spaces being finalized. Management will be assigned through a concession, with regional councilor Simona Tironi and Mayor Roberto Tardani in attendance.
Earlier that morning, students from IIS Luigi Cerebotani showcased their achievement after winning the national sustainable mobility competition in March. Their project, “Herbie,” is a 3D-printed remote-controlled electric car prototype inspired by the Beetle, recognized for its efficiency, innovation, and design.
