Lonato has announced the revocation of the allowance for bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles to travel against the flow along Via Trento e Trieste, effective from 8:00 AM on Thursday, October 31. This decision was made by the Municipality in response to the increase in vehicular traffic and the anticipated disruptions due to the upcoming redevelopment works in Piazza Corlo.
Currently, the section was marked with yellow horizontal signage that permitted “against the flow” transit despite the one-way direction from Piazza Corlo towards Via De Gasperi. However, with the rise in passing vehicles and the impending infrastructural changes, the administration deemed this measure necessary to ensure greater road safety.
