Two young men were rescued yesterday afternoon on Monte Pizzocolo, near Toscolano Maderno, after getting lost at an altitude of 1,430 meters. The alert was triggered around 1 PM when the youths lost their way on one of the ridges of the southern slope and found themselves at the intersection with the “Tre amici” alpine trail.

The Alpine Rescue team from the Valle Sabbia station dispatched four technicians to search the trails, successfully locating the young men in the late afternoon. The experts emphasized the importance of wearing appropriate footwear and clothing during mountain excursions to ensure greater safety.
