A tragic traffic accident has struck the community of Malcesine, resulting in the deaths of two young lovers, Bogdan Dobrica and Veronica Mitrofan. The couple, who had been living together for a few months after developing a deep relationship over the past two years, were riding home on a scooter from a gathering with friends when the accident occurred. Both were well-known in the area: Bogdan worked at a butcher shop, while Veronica was employed at a local hotel. Friends remember them for their smiles and kindness, highlighting how happy they were together.
The news has deeply shaken colleagues and the local community, with Bogdan’s mother, Cristina, expressing her grief over the loss of the couple. Bogdan’s body will be returned to Romania for the funeral, while a memorial vigil will be held on June 11th in the square at Assenza to honor the memory of the young couple.
