Manerba Del Garda Inaugurates New Roundabout; Province Plans Future Road Projects

Even the President of the Province, Alberto Cavalli, was present yesterday morning, Saturday, at the official inauguration of the new roundabout, consisting of two roundabouts, in Manerba del Garda.

Same Cavalli, after giving the blessing to the entire road infrastructure by Don Giusto, parish priest of Raffa di Puegnago, alongside the mayor of Manerba, Isidoro Bertini, cut the tricolor inauguration ribbon.

In the sky, quite casually, flew some jets which today will be the protagonists of the Ghedi aviation festival.

No formal speeches but only some ceremonial moments full of significance.

Then, everyone headed to toast sponsored by the Municipal Administration.

Many mayors from the area were present, practically all from Valtenesi, including Cino Anelli, Mayor of Desenzano, with his deputy Emanuele Giustacchini, and Maurizio Ferrari from Sirmione.

Future Projects and Road Development

A first step, that of Manerba, towards a radical transformation of Lake Garda’s road network, which the Province itself will closely monitor, as confirmed by President Cavalli and Assessore Mauro Parolini.

From July 1st, this Desenzano-Salò state road will also be transferred from ANAS to provincial jurisdiction.

After Manerba, it will be Padenghe’s turn to see the realization of a new roundabout, where there is currently a traffic light system.

Next will be the restructuring of the Cunettone roundabout.

Isidoro Bertini also wanted to emphasize the costs, which total approximately 1,200 million lire: 250 million borne by the Province, with the remaining covered by municipal funds.

The differences and commitments of municipal budgets also include the costs of furnishings.

A special thanks was also directed to the design technicians from the Province and the Municipality, and to the Vezzola Road Construction Company, which maintained and respected the initial timeline of about three months for the completion of this urgent road work.
