Manerba bids farewell to its mechanical nativity scene, a Christmas event that attracted over 30,000 visitors. The last days of the diorama’s opening are scheduled for January 25 and 26 at the church of San Giovanni in Solarolo. Set up by the Friends of San Bernardo, the nativity scene is notable for its complexity, featuring 750 moving figurines powered by 160 electric motors, and enriched by scenes ranging from the traditional nativity to historical landscapes of Valtènesi.
This year, among the new features, stands out a revamped Santa Claus toy factory and a new water mirror inspired by Lake Garda. Admission is free, but donations are warmly welcomed to support the activities of the volunteers. Additionally, a refreshment point offers hot tea and mulled wine, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at this Christmas event, which has become a symbol of the local festivities.
