The Gardesana Servizi Company has launched an important project for the modernization of water networks in San Zeno di Montagna, starting from the main road of the town and affecting the areas of Cà Sartori, Montagna, and Castello. The works, funded by PNRR resources, involve the replacement of old pipes with a new duct made of ductile iron, with a diameter of 200 mm, extending approximately 1200 meters. This initiative aims to ensure efficient water services for residents, reducing water losses and improving supply pressure.
According to AGS President Angelo Cresco, this intervention will bring significant benefits to the local community, especially considering the increased demand for drinking water associated with summer tourism. Mayor Maurizio Castellani emphasized that this project responds to requests made in previous years to address issues arising from tourism growth and frequent pipe breakages. The total investment for the project amounts to 568,000 euros and represents a significant step towards modernizing water services in the area.
