Moniga del Garda Launches Summer Festival With Free Events at the Castle and Port

Moniga del Garda kicks off the 10th edition of **Colpi di Colore**, an open-air summer festival promoted by the municipality and curated by **Cieli Vibranti**, running from **July 3 to August 5, 2026**. Six free entry events are scheduled across recognizable venues in town, mixing **music, theatre, literature and original performances**. Each night is tied to a different color, and attendees are invited to wear an item or accessory in that shade.

The program begins on **Friday, July 3 at 9:00 pm** at the **Moniga Castle** with **“I Tetrarchi”** (blue), featuring four double bass players—**Nicola Borserini, Alan Cretti, Andrea Casarotto and Michele Maulucci**—plus actor **Filippo Garlanda**. On **Wednesday, July 15 at 9:00 pm**, the festival returns to the castle for **“Italian Masters: Rota e Morricone”** (red), with **Andrea Giuffredi** (trumpet), **Paolo Grillenzoni** (percussion) and the **Mascoulisse Quartet**, focusing on music by **Ennio Morricone** and **Nino Rota**.

Other highlights include **“Antologia apocrifa”** (magenta) on **July 22** at the castle with **Alessandro Adami** and **Andrea Faini**, **“Lezione di musica”** (green) on **July 31** with **Faini**, **Garlanda** and **Giovanni Colombo**, and an early-morning **“Serenata per l’alba”** (white) on **August 2 at 6:00 am** at the **Moniga Port**, performed by **Two Strings – La boutique Sonora**. The festival closes on **Wednesday, August 5 at 9:00 pm** at the castle with **“Guarda che luna. Omaggio a Fred Buscaglione”** (blue), featuring **Simone Salvi**, **Giovanni Colombo**, **Marco Rottoli**, **Paolo Zanaglio**, **Fabiano Redolfi** and **Sergio Orlandi**. All events are free; concerts will be cancelled in case of rain.
