Monitoring is currently underway on the Strada della Forra, SP38 in Tremosine sul Garda, where studies have been initiated to assess the stability of the cliff following a landslide that occurred on December 16th. Currently, the sensors installed both inside and outside the tunnel have detected slight movement of the rocks. Monitoring will continue until the end of September and will be enhanced with new tools to analyze the internal conditions of the rock.
In parallel, the Province of Brescia has begun the design of a new tunnel to improve safety in the area. A preliminary draft of the route has already been developed, while engineers are exploring various solutions to address the environmental and geological challenges of the project. These developments are crucial for ensuring the safety of users and preventing further incidents along this scenic road.
