Montichiari: arrest for extortion and red code
A 41-year-old man has been arrested by the Montichiari Local Police following a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Brescia Court, as part of a case involving offenses categorized under the red code. The investigation was initiated after the man’s mother reported a continuous series of death threats, insults, and harassment aimed at extorting an amount between 70,000 and 80,000 euros. The intimidation forced the victim to radically change her daily habits. Upon activating the red code protocol, the officers quickly managed to identify the alleged perpetrator, leading to his report for stalking and extortion. During the arrest, the man was found in possession of 31 doses of hashish and packaging materials, indicating involvement in drug trafficking. Following these discoveries, a second arrest in the act was also made. The man is currently detained at the “Nerio Fischione” prison in Brescia. Italian Version
