Montichiari hosts Adriana Pannitteri on femicide
Journalist Adriana Pannitteri, known for her hosting of Tg2 Storie, will be in Montichiari on Wednesday, July 2, for an event as part of the Libramente Estate series. Starting at 8:45 PM, in the library garden, Pannitteri will engage in a conversation with Federico Migliorati about her book “Il sangue delle donne. Tragedie senza fine,” co-authored with magistrate Valerio De Gioia. The event is free, and in case of bad weather, it will take place in the municipal council chamber.
The book addresses the issue of femicide, highlighting how too many women lose their lives at the hands of their partners and how those who manage to survive bear deep physical and psychological scars. Despite media attention and laws like the Codice Rosso, many unresolved questions remain regarding the protection of victims and the need for a cultural shift to prevent these tragedies from continuing to occur.
