Montichiari Students Showcase Short Film I WAS at GardaForum

Montichiari’s municipality will host the “Legalità in corto” initiative in April 2026, featuring the premiere of the student-made short film “I WAS” at Teatro GardaForum. The event aims to promote awareness of legality, safety, and social justice through active educational activities and cinematic storytelling.

Launched in 2022 by a multidisciplinary committee, the project has involved over 55,000 students across multiple editions and received the “Best Action” award from the Ministry of Public Administration. The 2026 program includes workshops on audiovisual education, emphasizing early recognition of violence and fostering empathy, with the short film serving as a central tool to challenge stereotypes and encourage dialogue on respect and consent.
