Starting from 2026, Mori will officially join the Garda Dolomiti area, a change requested by the municipality on October 20th. This decision was motivated by the geographical proximity and the alignment of the tourism offerings with the Alto Garda region. The assessment confirmed the full eligibility of the request, verifying territorial continuity and an annual volume of at least one million visitors, along with the necessary accommodation facilities. After receiving favorable opinions from the Council of Local Authorities (CAL) and the Second Permanent Commission of the Provincial Council, the process is moving towards its conclusion. Councillor Roberto Failoni emphasized that the municipality of Mori has historically served as a connecting point between Lake Garda and the Trentino hinterland, fostering daily tourist, economic, and social interactions. This redefinition will also allow for better integration of the Val di Gresta, which extends partially into the Garda area, bringing significant benefits in tourism planning and promotion. In the coming months, the councillor intends to engage in dialogue with local institutions and economies in Vallagarina to support this transition constructively. Italian Version
