A serious motorcycle accident occurred late yesterday afternoon, Friday, July 4th, on Donatori di Sangue Street in Castiglione delle Stiviere, involving a 59-year-old motorcyclist from Lonato del Garda and a car. The impact was so severe that it necessitated the immediate intervention of emergency services, with the carabinieri conducting the necessary investigations, and firefighters, an ambulance from Soccorso Azzurro, a medical car, and even a helicopter from 118 arriving from Brescia at the scene.
The motorcyclist was urgently transported by helicopter to the Civil Hospital of Brescia, while the car driver, a 59-year-old woman residing in Castiglione, was unharmed. To facilitate rescue operations and technical assessments, the road was partially closed to traffic. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
