Murder in Lonato del Garda: the victim’s father-in-law arrested
A serious murder shook Lonato del Garda on October 2, when Dolores Dori, 43, was shot three times inside a nomad camp. The woman died a few hours after being abandoned in front of the hospital in Desenzano. Investigations revealed a possible “settling of scores” between families linked to personal issues, as the victim’s relatives disapproved of her decision to move for love, rejecting an arranged marriage. On Monday, October 27, the carabinieri from the Desenzano company arrested the alleged murderer, Roberto Held, the victim’s father-in-law. The man turned himself in at the provincial command in Brescia after being sought throughout Northern Italy. The arrest was made based on a warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Brescia, and the suspect is currently detained at the “Nerio Fischione” prison. Italian Version
