A new chapter has unfolded in the trial for the murder of Nerina Fontana, the 72-year-old woman who was killed on September 15, 2023, in Sirmione. Her son, Ruben Andreoli, 45, is accused of brutally attacking his mother with kicks and punches in their home on Via XXIV Maggio. During the hearing, a carabinieri officer testified that Andreoli, found on the couch with blood-stained clothes, claimed to have had an argument with his mother. The victim was discovered bloodied on the balcony.
A neighbor’s testimony described dramatic moments: “I heard a scream and saw Andreoli trampling and kicking his mother,” he recounted. Another neighbor confirmed that Nerina was crying for help while being assaulted.
