Musical Afternoons in Salò: Inauguration with Harp Concerts

The “Jeux d’Harpes” Trio will open the Pomeriggi Musicali di Salò on Sunday, October 19, at 5 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori. This concert marks the beginning of the XXII edition of the festival, organized by the Musa – Musica Salò association, under the direction of Maestro Luca Lucini. The trio, consisting of Francesca Bordin, Letizia Pellanda, and Dara Mattiello, will perform a program dedicated to the theme of dance, featuring both Celtic and pedal harps. The hall will open at 4:30 PM, and admission will be by donation until seats are filled. The young harpists have already received accolades in national and international competitions, including Second Prize at the International Harp Competition “Angel Padilla Crespo.” They have participated in masterclasses with world-renowned artists and regularly perform both as soloists and in orchestras. The concert program will include traditional pieces and compositions by composers such as G. Bizet and S. Joplin, promising an afternoon filled with engaging music for all enthusiasts.
