Last Friday, the 66th edition of the Estate Musicale Salò was presented, a violin festival that has been enriching the summer in the Garda area since 1958, dedicated to the famous luthier Gasparo da Salò. The artistic direction is now in the hands of Maestro Luca Lucini, who has introduced a renewed and expanded program featuring concerts by high-quality young musicians, while keeping ticket prices affordable and offering discounts for younger attendees. The preview event will take place on July 17 at 9 PM aboard the historic sailing ship Circe, featuring cellist Ana Rucher. The festival will include concerts in Piazza Duomo and in the cloister of MuSa, all starting at 9:30 PM.
Luca Lucini emphasized the importance of diversifying artistic and cultural offerings to attract an ever-growing audience. Highlights will include symphonic concerts and explorations of film repertoire, as well as events designed to engage the new generations of musicians. As stated by Mayor Francesco Cagnini, the Estate Musicale represents a cornerstone for local cultural events, continuing to enhance the city’s musical tradition.
