Nautic Show at Centro Fiera Montichiari: Record Exhibitors and Water Sports Exhibition
Nautic Show triples its exhibitors in just two years and confirms an unprecedented success in the prestigious trade fair schedule of the Centro Fiera in Montichiari.
Exactly 279 exhibitors will be showcased (up from 90 in April 1999) across the seven pavilions of the fair city (35,000 square meters occupied) over nine days, from Saturday, February 10th to Sunday, February 18th, with an intensive program.
The event is organized through the joint efforts of Optimist of Luciano Coin and Staff Service of Carlo Miotto.
Events and Sponsorships
The 3rd European Nautical Fair, located in Piazza Brescia, ranks fourth in Europe (after Dusseldorf, Paris, and Genoa), also hosting the 2nd Sports Fishing Equipment Fair, which will take place over three days from February 10th to 12th.
Among the sponsors is also the Provincia di Brescia, which yesterday hosted a press conference at Broletto with the presence of organizers, representatives of sports associations, and the Centro Fiera of Montichiari.
Comments and Interventions
“We are pleased to present this successful event, which once again demonstrates the fertility of the Centro Fiera di Montichiari,” began Alberto Cavalli, President of the Province. “Nautic Show also proves that Brescia’s residents, with their three lakes, are great enthusiasts of water sports, including fishing, and that these passions elevate the name of Brescia not only in Italy but also in Europe and worldwide.”
Attendees also included the Vice President of the Province Stefano Saglia, the assessors Alessandro Sala (Fishing and Sports), Ermes Buffoli (Tourism), and the councilor Ramona Fusi (Centro Fiera spa).
Saglia praised “the great entrepreneurial capacity of Brescia’s private sector”; Sala recalled the importance of this 2nd Sports Fishing Fair for our province, and Buffoli emphasized that events like Nautic Show “positively influence the entire tourism sector of our province, rich in lakes, rivers, and natural resources.”
Offerings and Themes of the Event
From Saturday, February 10th, visitors will find everything that “can be searched for and admired by those who love the sea, water sports, sport fishing, and deep-sea fishing,” with each sector represented: accessories, diving, engines in general, trailers, and nautical furnishings.
Additionally, useful services will be offered by sports associations, nautical schools, canoe and kayak organizations, tourist agencies, insurance companies, specialized publishers, and numerous sector experts and professionals.
Products and Placement
“The level of quality reached is such that few nautical salons can compete with this reality located in the heart of Lombardy,” affirms Luciano Coin.
Once again in this edition, Nautic Show will showcase top-level products, including the luxurious mega yachts measuring 20 meters, a spectacle not to be missed both for enthusiasts and newcomers.

The event will be hosted by Anna Falchi, who will particularly attend Nautic Show on Saturday afternoon, February 10th, between 3 and 5 pm. On February 11th, guests will include the world champion diver Genoni and Olympic swimming champions Rosolino and Fioravanti.
