An important nautical safety ordinance has come into effect in the Gulf of Salò, establishing limits and prohibitions for navigation. Starting from Sunday, June 1, 2025, until October 12, 2025, municipal ordinance no. 130 of May 28, 2025, imposes a maximum speed limit of 15 knots during the day and 5 knots at night in the stretch between the mouth of the Barbarano stream and Punta del Corno. Additionally, the use of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is permitted only in favorable weather conditions and at a distance from the shore not exceeding 100 meters.
The ordinance also prohibits navigation with jet skis and recreational activities such as water skiing, banana boating, and other similar pursuits.
