The young Elgendy Ahmed, known on social media as the “King of Brescia”, recently announced that he will not be attending the gathering scheduled in Peschiera del Garda on June 2, fearing it could turn into a chaotic event. Ahmed, who had previously posted humorous videos inviting young people to reach the lake without paying for train tickets, clarified: “I won’t go, I’m staying here in Brescia to chill,” emphasizing his desire to avoid trouble and any resulting legal responsibilities.
The situation is being monitored by law enforcement, with measures in place to ensure safety over the weekend. The mayor of Peschiera, Orietta Gaiulli, reiterated the importance of adhering to the directives from the police headquarters, stating that June 2 must remain a celebration of the Republic and not an occasion for disorder. Despite the humor in Ahmed’s videos, concerns about potential clashes remain high among organizers and local authorities.
