The Cultural Circle of Philately, Numismatics, and Militaria of Salò officially has a new headquarters, which will be inaugurated on Saturday, January 18th. Located at the Fondaco Coen in Palazzo Fantoni, in the heart of the town by the lake, the facility has been named after Giuseppe “Pepe” Ferrari, the founder of the circle in the 1990s. After three years of restoration, the building now offers equipped spaces with display cases and audio-visual systems, ideal for exhibitions and conferences. Additionally, the headquarters houses a rich library that serves as an important reference point for enthusiasts.
Officially founded in 2001 and registered with the Italian Philatelic Federation, the circle has become a gathering place for collectors from across the province. It currently boasts over fifty members and has expanded its interests to include watches and medals. The inauguration will take place at 3:30 PM on January 18th, while the opening to the public is scheduled for Sunday, January 19th, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
