The Civic Committee of Desenzano del Garda has raised questions regarding the construction of the new hospital, seeking clarifications from ASST Garda about the location and the alternatives considered. Following Decree No. 886 of October 17, 2025, which entrusted the Polytechnic University of Milan with the preparation of the Feasibility Document for Project Alternatives, the committee has expressed concerns over the lack of clear information regarding whether a specific area has already been identified or if various options will be considered, including the current site at Montecroce. In an official letter sent to the General Management of ASST Garda, the Committee requests details on the alternative areas under study and the timeline for initiating the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedures, which are essential for ensuring transparency in the process.
