The 14th edition of the OM International Ledro Match Race is just around the corner, an event of sailing sports that will take place on Lago di Ledro from June 27 to 29, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the late afternoon of June 26. Organized by the Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro, this match race is the only Grade 2 event in Italy that is part of the World Match Racing Tour and will feature twelve helmsmen from seven countries, including Australia, Ireland, Estonia, and France.
Defending champion Rocco Attili will represent Italy and is expected to face tough competition from opponents such as Tom Foucher and Mati Sepp. Gaspare Inglese, the newly appointed president of the Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro, expressed enthusiasm for the significance of the event and the efforts of the volunteers who make it possible. The J/22 fleet is ready to welcome the best talents in international match racing in a competitive and engaging atmosphere.
