From **February 4 to 10**, free **oncological screenings** and vaccinations for cancer patients will take place in Lombardy, thanks to the collaboration between ATS and ASST. This initiative coincides with **World Cancer Day**, providing an important opportunity to raise awareness about **cancer prevention**. Citizens will have access to screenings for cervical, colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers, as well as consultations on healthy lifestyles and HCV testing. Regional Welfare Councillor Guido Bertolaso emphasized the importance of actively participating in these initiatives to combat the disease.
The initiative aims not only to provide prevention services but also to promote greater awareness on health issues. Through informative workshops and awareness campaigns, the Region encourages citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their health and contribute to the fight against cancer. Indeed, prevention remains the most effective weapon in the battle against this disease.
