In Sirmione, the month of August brings an event that promises to enchant cinema lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Films on the Beach transforms Punta Grò into a captivating open-air cinema, where the charm of Lake Garda merges with the magic of the big screen. Every Sunday evening, from August 4 to August 25, 2024, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy four iconic films set against a unique backdrop.

A Magical Atmosphere

The natural setting of Punta Grò is already an irresistible draw. The evening breeze and starry sky create a perfect frame to enjoy memorable films. Spectators are invited to relax on the grass, surrounded by one of the most enchanting views in the world, as the darkness of the night transforms into their cinematic screen.

Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 9:30 PM
“We’re on a mission from God” – The Blues Brothers by John Landis, starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd.

Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 9:30 PM “What’s done is done when we say it’s done” – Mission: Impossible – Fallout by Christopher McQuarrie, starring Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill.

Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 9:30 PM “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her…” – Notting Hill by Roger Michell, starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 9:30 PM “A unit of the American secret service infiltrated behind enemy lines will assist them. The Germans call them the bastards” – Bastardi senza Gloria by Quentin Tarantino, starring Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz.

Practical Details

Admission to the event is free; however, spectators are advised to arrive early as there will be a limited number of seats available. To fully enjoy this outdoor experience, it is recommended to bring small blankets or mats to sit on.
