By analyzing the population changes with official residence in Padenghe over the past forty years, we can see that from 1961 to today, the number of residents has almost doubled.
This situation is certainly positive for this municipality, primarily due to the ongoing availability of apartments, whether designated as tourist or residential, built and made available to meet the increasing demand for new housing space, which continues to grow.

In 1961, the population was 1,710, rising to 2,030 ten years later; in 1981, a further increase was registered with a population of 2,422 people.
