Palazzi Aperti: Three MART Labs Bring Depero to Greater Accessibility

The Mart in Rovereto will host three free workshops for the 22nd edition of “Palazzi Aperti,” dedicated to Fortunato Depero’s art, tactile exploration, and accessibility. The events will take place on 6 and 13 September between Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero and the Mart.

On 6 September at 10:00 at Casa Depero, “Mi sento Fortunato” will use a special deck of cards to introduce children aged 4 to 10 to Depero’s art and life. On 13 September at 10:00, “La città futurista” will use modular wooden shapes and is also designed for blind or low-vision children. At 10:30 on 13 September in the Mart’s education area, “TOUCH! Vedere con le mani” will invite participants to explore the collections through touch without using sight, and it is also suitable for blind or low-vision visitors.

The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Rovereto with a focus on accessibility and inclusion. All activities are free but require booking.
