A panic attack struck a young hiker in Torri del Benaco on the late afternoon of Sunday, March 23. The girl, a 20-year-old from Milan on vacation with her parents, was on the trail leading to the tibetan bridge when she began to experience difficulties continuing. The alpine rescue team responded immediately after receiving the alert and requested the intervention of the Verona Emergenza helicopter.
Thanks to a rescuer lowered by a 15-meter winch, the young woman was recovered and transported to the Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona for necessary examinations. Her parents reached her shortly afterward to support her during the medical assistance phase.
