Paolo Masserdotti, a sailor from Desenzano del Garda, has claimed the title of national minialtura champion with his boat “Gin Tonic” during the Italian Minialtura Championship 2025, held from June 13 to 15 on the waters of Lake Como. Masserdotti, serving as tactician, led a crew consisting of Francesco Giannelli, Marco Pecorella, and Fabio Bonaiuto to victory, thanks to a series of consistent placements that allowed them to surpass competitors such as Whatever and Viva II.
The competition, organized by the Yacht Club Domaso, featured a mix of technical trials and an offshore race in favorable weather conditions. Fraglia Vela Desenzano expressed great pride in Masserdotti’s achievement, highlighting his experience and strategic skills that contributed to the team’s success. This triumph reaffirms the prestige of sailing in Brescia on the national stage.
