Recently, the Pasticceria Vassalli in Salò was awarded recognition among the historic businesses of Lombardy, a distinction granted by the region to shops and establishments that have been operating continuously for at least 40 years. During a ceremony held at the Chamber of Commerce, the regional assessor for Economic Development, Guido Guidesi, praised the value of these enterprises, emphasizing how they represent a cornerstone of the local economy and cultural traditions. In total, 121 new historic businesses were honored in the province of Brescia, with five awards going to Salò. The support from the Lombardy Region extends beyond the identifying brand: a call for proposals for 2025 dedicated to historic businesses has also been presented, which includes a non-repayable grant of up to 50% for investments in innovation and redevelopment. This assistance aims to ensure the continuity of local traditions and promote the economic development of the area. Italian Version
