The Secretary General of the Garda Community, Pierlucio Ceresa, has confirmed that there are no issues concerning the water levels in the area, reassuring the lakeside municipalities regarding the management of water during the current heatwave. Currently, the water level stands at 113 cm above the zero hydrometric point in Peschiera del Garda, with a downstream flow of 80 cubic meters per second. Ceresa emphasized that the situation is optimal and that he is collaborating with AIPO to ensure sustainable use of water resources, taking into account the weather conditions and the projects outlined in the PNRR.
Furthermore, Ceresa highlighted the effective hydraulic management of the basin, stressing the importance of prioritizing human and drinking water use, accompanied by rigorous monitoring of water quality. This positive communication comes at a crucial time for the region, helping to reassure the population regarding the available water resources.
