An evening among friends on the shores of Lake Garda turned into a nightmare for a young girl. After spending an evening with a longtime friend, things took a turn for the worse when both of them abused alcohol. The girl, unable to react due to her intoxication, was sexually assaulted by her “friend.”
The events date back to the end of August 2022, and now the two find themselves facing each other in court. The girl filed a complaint against her friend, who was 21 years old at the time of the incident, while she was only 17.
The young girl was on vacation with her parents when she decided to go out with her friend to spend an evening together in Peschiera. Due to excessive alcohol consumption, the girl began feeling unwell while they were still in the car. Despite her poor condition, the friend took advantage of the situation and assaulted her.
Despite her discomfort, the girl was able to recall the events of the evening thanks to a secret recording of a conversation with the young man. She later told her friends and parents about what happened, and they immediately filed a complaint against the boy. The trial has been scheduled for July 2nd at the Verona Court.
Now, the young victim and her parents will become civil parties in the trial.
