The 16th Corsa Rosa brought life to Piazza Vittoria in Brescia, attracting between 7,000 and 8,000 participants, as reported by the event organizer Emanuele Petromer. Dedicated to the prevention of violence against women, the event saw the presence of Mayor Laura Castelletti and Councillor Alessandro Cantoni, who kicked off a manifestation that combined sport and social commitment. With over 100 volunteers along the 6 km route, the organization by the Uisp committee of Brescia was impeccable.
Paola Vasta, the president of Uisp Brescia, expressed great satisfaction with the turnout, emphasizing the initiative’s increasing inclusive value. Among the awardees at the finish line were Angela Girelli, Silvia Casella, and Loretta Catarina, all representatives of Atletica Gavardo 90. The group “Ilenia runs with us,” with 722 registered members, was recognized as the largest. The day concluded with music and celebrations, already building anticipation for an even more significant event next year.
