On Wednesday, August 27, at 6 PM, there will be a public presentation of the **pre-Roman necropolis** discovered on Via Santa Croce, in the historic center of **Trento**. This archaeological finding is one of the most significant events in recent decades for the area and will be discussed during a meeting at the Castello del Buonconsiglio. The event will be opened by the Vice President and Councillor for Culture, Francesca Gerosa, while Superintendent Franco Marzatico and the Deputy Director of the Provincial Office of Archaeological Heritage, Elisabetta Mottes, will delve into the characteristics and importance of the necropolis.
The discovery was made possible by excavations conducted by local archaeologists, which uncovered a monumental necropolis dating back to the Early Iron Age. The meeting represents an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage of the province and the historical significance of this exceptional archaeological site.
