President Ciampi Signs Dedication in Riva del Garda Golden Book

In the municipality there is the golden book, where since Bassetti’s time, the illustrious guests of the city leave a mark of their visit. The penultimate page is signed by the mayor of Beit Jalla and is written in Arabic.

On the last page, President Ciampi wrote: “To Riva del Garda, which welcomed me with great affection, a very lively wish.” Next to Carlo Azelio’s message is the signature of Mrs. Franca.

The mayor was eager about this dedication and proceeded to transfer the big book to du Lac, obtaining an autographed note from the president during a dinner break.

Malossini was particularly pleased that President Ciampi wanted to emphasize the very special warmth of the reception the people of Piazza Catena gave him last Sunday: he had also marked this in Trento the following day.
