Public Works Tenders in Italy Totaling Over 2.8 Billion Euros

A series of tenders for public works, which are expected to be completed within a few months, have been announced in recent days. The Scae Spa has been awarded the contract for the traffic light system on via Frumento.
The total cost amounts to nearly 39 million euros, while the estimate for the works to improve via S. Caterina exceeds one billion euros. Construction is set to begin in one month and must be completed within 60 days.
The contract for the redevelopment and restoration of the historic center of Caneve has been awarded to Asfaltaedil di Bazzani Luigi & C. snc, for approximately 296 million euros. This is the first phase, focusing on the parking lot.
One month is allocated for the start of the construction, with a 120-day timeframe to complete it. Additionally, through a licitazione (public tender), the Martinatti Silvio & C. of Arco has been entrusted with renovating the former municipal warehouse, where 12 elderly housing units will be built.
The project has a cost of 1.5 billion euros and must be finished within 410 days. The landscaping work for the municipal area at S. Rocco in Romarzollo has also been tendered. The contract was awarded to Edilbertoldi, with a budget of 48 million euros.
Supplies and Urban Development Works
Additionally noteworthy is the supply and installation – by Modulcasa Line SR – of a prefabricated structure costing 69 million euros, to be installed at the former tennis area in via Garberie.
Furthermore, a contract worth one hundred million euros has been awarded to Scavi Chiarani SNC for constructing a segment of sidewalk along viale Santoni, at the Moietta junction.
Traffic Enhancement Project
Finally, a few days ago the project to enhance the road connecting Varignano to Padaro was presented to the residents of Romarzollo. This is a preliminary project.
The overall cost of the project is estimated to be around 2.8 billion euros.
