Rare Plant Market Returns to Lonato with Fiori nella Rocca 2026

The “Fiori nella Rocca 2026” plant fair will return to the Rocca di Lonato (BS) from April 10-12, 2026, marking its 28th edition. Organized by Garden Club Brescia with support from the Ugo Da Como Foundation, the event will celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary and feature main curators Paolo and Marco Gramaglia, who will create a dedicated section on medicinal plants and ancient “simple” remedies.

Visitors can explore the fortress grounds and discover rare plants such as antique roses, peonies, citrus, aquatic plants, tillandsias, and forgotten fruits, alongside floral paper compositions by Giusy Ferrari Cielo. The fair also includes sections on outdoor lifestyle, natural cosmetics, and publishing. Admission is €6 (free under 14), with optional guided tours of Casa del Podestà at an additional €6, and free plant transport services are available for buyers.
