Regional and Community Collaboration to Support Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
