Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda Community

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community grants.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening centers and gathering spaces will be established.
