Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
