Regional Project Launches Social Inclusion Initiatives for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
