Regional Social Support Initiative for Vulnerable Groups Launches in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
