On **September 6**, the Natura Viva Park in **Bussolengo** will host the traditional **bat release** event, part of an initiative dedicated to nature conservation. During this event, which is included in the entrance ticket, the public will have the opportunity to participate in an educational walk along a trail dedicated to microchiropterans, learning about the habits of these important mammals and their ecological role in combating insect proliferation.
After the walk, numerous specimens that have been rescued and rehabilitated by the “Il Pettirosso” Wildlife Center in Modena will be released into the surrounding woods. These young bats, which have received care after being found in distress earlier in the summer, will return to repopulate the area as they prepare for their first winter hibernation. The event also serves as a moment of celebration for the park’s summer season and will take place at 6:30 PM in the camel area.
